Dance class year 141 - First week

Hello Dancers,


At first, before introduction I would like to announce that from this year there are new rules in the dance class. Read on for the new rules!

Most of you know me already.
I am Sami, your dance instructor.
I've been dancing since I was 1 years old. Dance is more than a passion, it's life. My favourites are Latin Dances and ballet.

I will teach you each week a new dance, starting next week, theoretic and practice. 3 dances this year. In practice it means you dance 2 times each of these dances against your given partners.

Let me know if one activity disappears because someone did not join.

Only those will sign up for the dance class/competition who comment below, that they want to participate, so we can avoid that one gets stuck for weeks, waiting for a not participating partner.

And I need your opinion also now about the recital:
On the last week, if you all want, we can have a small recital again, like a party, so you your friends and family members can be invited.

In the first part of the class we learn a new dance, in the other part you can dance and improve what you want, I will help everyone.

This week we just have an introduction week and you can show me what you like dancing and your level.


Homework:

You can introduce yourself shortly and answer these questions:
How long have you been dancing? What is your favourite dance? Why do you love dancing?

And for those that are not new dancers in our class:
How did you like the last year? Any plan for this year? What do you want to achieve?
