Caught in the Undertow...
In the end...
The dark wins out.
In the end...
I’m too tired to shout.
The weight of the world...
On my chest like stone...
Caught in the undertow.

(Excerpt from my diary)
November 7, 2025.
Somewhere between dusk and the bottom of the ocean.
I don’t even know where to start.
Today, the song is finished. "Caught in the Undertow." It’s done, and it’s alive, and it hurts like hell...
I wrote it because I had to.
Because the weight of watching people walk away was crushing me, and I needed to scream—or whisper, or drown, or something...
It started as anger, then became desperation, and finally, it just became... resignation.
Like standing on the shore, watching the waves take everything, and knowing I'm next.
The vocals sound like I feel: broken, whispered, like a cry for help that no one hears.
The music is heavy, relentless—like the current pulling me under.
I wanted it to feel like the last moments before I sink, when I'm too tired to fight anymore. Alone in the middle of the ocean. I'm not sinking yet. But I know how this ends...
I played it on repeat until my chest ached.
It’s not just a song.
It’s the sound of my heart giving up.
And that’s okay... Sometimes surrender is the only peace you’ll find.
I don’t know if I’ll ever share it. Maybe I’ll just keep it here, in this diary, like a secret between me and the dark. Or maybe, one day, someone else will hear it and feel less alone in their own undertow.
For now, it’s mine...
In the end...
The only thing that's true
In the end...
It's me without you...
