Devyn looked out through the tiny airplane window as the sun began to set, painting the sky in gold and rose. She let out a deep sigh, shifting in her seat, trying to find a bit of comfort, which had become harder and harder now that she was in her third trimester. It was the third flight of the day, with two little babies in tow, and she couldn’t help but wonder how they even allowed her to fly in her condition.
The last time she boarded a plane this pregnant, she had been on her way to Rio, happy, glowing, and full of excitement. Everything felt so different then. She sighed again and closed her eyes, trying not to think too much about today. At least this time, she was going home. Maybe things would feel right again… or at least, she hoped they would.
