Me vs Lion
At Steve Cash’s residence, Lisa lay on the bed, reading the newspaper. She sighed softly as she finished, placing it beside her. Closing her eyes, she tried to recall the events of the day.
She had been with Steve earlier, cuddled up together, when a silly thought had crossed her mind, to feed the lion. What was she thinking? It wasn’t a cat, it was a lion. She felt grateful that Steve had come to her rescue when things went wrong.
Now, lying in bed, Steve was spoiling her with balloons, chocolates, flowers and sweet treats, feeding her, and giving her warm cuddles. Was she desperately seeking his attention? Had she really risked her own life just for a little more of his affection?
"Damn it!" she muttered to herself, frustrated, pulled the duvet over her head "Next time, I could just walk around naked or send him a nude pic instead."
