Hear Ye, Hear Ye

Maybe she was being rather sneaky about it all, but she had a good plan. A plan to bring everyone together after so many years of being at odds. The past was messy and she was more than ready to leave the past right where it belonged, in the dust behind all of them.

After two victories she was waiting on one more person, the final piece to the puzzle that was a crazy wild family they seemed to form. She had learned after all these years that holding onto anger and hate wasn't the way forward. She needed to open her heart to what could be made of not the best of situations and bring everyone together. There were children involved after all, even if they were grown up.

"So dad." She knew her father could tell she had been up to something. "Ready for a family reunion 2.0?"

"Go on." Her father urged

"This time with some other guests, King and his family. Wife and all."

Helios raised a brow "And Josh figures into this somehow?"

"Absolutely! See aren't you proud look at me making big adult choices."

Helios laughed and agreed "Alright, I'll tell your mother we need to start planning. Whens the party?"

Squall beamed, hugging her dad "Next weekend? Too soon?"

Helios thought about it for a moment "We can make that work, send out the invitation and Squall, congratulations."

She looked at him shocked, how could he possibly have known. "Thanks dad."

Now it was time to get to work.
