I still can’t quite wrap my head around it: my little brother, Aleksey, is now a married man. Just yesterday, it seems, we were kids causing mischief and teasing each other endlessly. Yet here we are, celebrating one of the most beautiful days of his life, and I couldn’t be happier or prouder.
It was a whirlwind of emotions—joy, laughter, and a few tears (mostly from me). But, I have to admit, seeing my brother standing there, nervously waiting for Sailor to walk down the aisle was almost as entertaining as the time he got stuck in a tree trying to impress a girl in kindergarten.
And...it looks like I'm officially an aunt now. Becoming the aunt of two beautiful girls in an instant was both surreal and incredibly heartwarming. Suddenly, I'm not just Yuliya anymore, I'm the cool Aunt Yuliya, the one who gets to spoil them rotten and be there for all their milestones.
Guys, I wish you all the best. Marriage has been one of the most incredible and beautiful things that had ever happened to me and I hope it'll be the same for you too.
Now...it's been a tough day for me, time to enjoy the sea and a couple of drinks. Wait, where are the kids?
