Fleeting pleasure
I have come to the realisation that I've never had a true love. I've never considered myself worthy of being loved, so it has never happened. I've had men... and women... who want me as a notch on the bedpost. I've settled for that for most of my adult life.
Deep and very personal self reflection has brought me to the conclusion that I'm selling myself short. I do deserve to be loved. I do deserve to be cherished.
