This morning I stood under the shower and I imagined how it would be if I could wash you off.
Your words, your laughter, memories of you and all the thoughts about you.
Everything streaming into the drain.
Away from me.

You held my hand and taught me the meaning of partnership. You got upset over the littlest things like when I didn’t wait for you, when I was distant, or when I was “mean”. But the sweetest thing was your patience. How you always took the time to explain why, even when I couldn’t understand. Your kindness when I was just being silly, or when I was too noob making the dumbest mistakes, meant everything. You were my best friend, and I will forever miss us, miss what we had.
I’m sorry for being too selfish to stand by your side when you were struggling. I’m sorry you’ll never hear this when you should have.
