Chanelle sat across from me that evening, I looked at her and silence filled the room. Her smile, her touch, her scent… all of it made me realize how fragile time really is. One day, Chanelle and I would fade away, just like the love letters of those who came before us. I reached for her, kissed her lips gently and whispered “I’ll make our love immortal. I’ll carve it into the heart of Paris.”
So I did. I bought a small hotel in a quiet corner of the city an old stone building surrounded by roses, untouched by time. On a brass plaque by the door, I had these words engraved, “L’amour ne meurt jamais.”
