The special about this contest is that none of the participants can have a higher ranking than around 1100 on the list of Rock bands – the dividing line between “superstars” and “stars”. This is a great advantage for the bands that is not yet well known.
Aside from a lot of fame there are also great prizes to win:

3. prize (around) 12,000$
