Seattle City Light
The power plant is crucial to city infrastructure. Without a fully operational and well kept power plant things can turn real ugly for businesses, inhabitants, and everyone else in the a city.
Note from the Management
This is
Seattle City Light.
Governed by elected Seattle officials, guided by public involvement and support, Seattle's publicly owned electric power utility provides an essential service for local needs.
A gift inherited from past generations, thanks to "Father of City Light" J.D. Ross, public power began in Seattle with development of the first municipally owned hydro project in the U.S. at Cedar River. Hydroelectric power facilities now account for over 90% of Seattle power generation, providing 1,850 MW energy output toward the near 2,000 MW City total capacity.
