The Farley Post Office was built in NY in year 88. It is named after the 53rd Postmaster General and was formerly known as the General Post Office building. The building bears the inscription:
'Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.'
