Welcome back to where we belong.

It was hell of a week and we did our best to make everyone happy (especially ourselves). The rush, the excitement, the waiting... we wanted everything to be perfect and delicious. And fresh, of course. Jet lags, late night gym sessions (yum), the dress, the tux, flowers, the playlist (every detail felt like it carried the weight of forever). AND here we were, finally, standing at the edge of the moment we dreamed about.

The scent of jasmine in the air, calming my nerves to remind me why all of this chaos mattered. Holly sweet chaos, mmm just the way I like it!

Excitement dancing through the hallways, all friends and family were buzzing around us. My man of honor was running around with his checklist, fixing the minor disasters cropped up (missing cookies, a late florist). Meanwhile, Bobby was probably downstairs joking with his groomsmen, trying to mask his nerves in humor.

When the moment came, the chatter faded, the music swelled and the world seemed to still as I stepped out. I wasn't feeling my legs. The aisle stretched before me (reaaally long). I was framed by loved ones and covered in rose petals. But I didn't see any faces, all I see was him.

He was standing at the end of the aisle, his eyes locked on me with a mix of wonder... and something I can only describe as... home. When I reached him, when his hand met mine, the world tilted back to where it belonged.
