you're the only drug all i need
it didn't matter how much pain she was in, she could never get used to it. the nightmares, she used to take medication for, were boring to sleep now.. in the middle of the night, mei woke up in a panic. had trouble breathing and panic attacks felt like they were tearing her ribcage to pieces. something going on inside her, something that had grown up with her and was mostly hated a lot. in the middle of the dark room, her hands desperately searched for her
husband on the other side of the bed. cold and trembling fingertips could only relax when they found the warmth that was her lifeblood.
when her eyes adjusted to the darkness, saw
kieran sleeping quietly, and suddenly her tears broke free. she cried silent sobs so as not to wake him, like a for minutes. she snuggled into the arms that had been created for her, just to make sure that he was real.
"it wasn't a dream, it was real" she thought. finally her mind was no longer playing tricks on her. mei smiled, as hers blew floated over
kieran's skin, bringing hims familiar scent to her.
“i love you,” she whispered.
kieran murmured in his sleep and wrapped arms tightly around mei.
“love you, kie. i'm glad you are here." she repeated.
