Yesterday, Valentine's was a hit. My dear fiancé prepared some various surprises for me. I have to add a little note here, I kept my expectations so low that those surprises embarrassed me. Two reasons I had then. First, he is naturally romantic. I assumed that he would skip this day easier as we have much more to celebrate, like everyday of our life.
Second, I told him, I have never been loved this way- like I am the one, the most beautiful and loving being in his world.
In a couple of hours, we will leave this country which once he called home. I try hard to keep my cool, pretend as if I will be following our scheduled travel plan. I can tell that he could sense the foxes in my head.
Soon after the concert, we packed up and flied to Amsterdam with Félix, Asha and Leo. Our mothers met us at the airport. The sudden shock on his face was worth it. I grinned and watched him connect all the dots. After an intimate hug session, we left the airport to check them in to the suit I reserved. Then we were to check in ours, in a little town called Beverwijk, near Amsterdam.
A little package that contained grocery, cold beers, chocolate and even some mushrooms *winks* was waiting for us in the front door of the villa, tagged "Happy Babymoon, Mr. and Mrs. Kaiser!".
