i've seen a vision of my life /

throughout its journey, the river nourished the lands around it with its purity, never attempting to change its course to please anyone. it knew that its true strength lay in staying true to itself, in not trying to be faster or greater than it truly was. with every curve it made, it moved forward serenely, trusting that the true value lay in the honesty of its path, not in the speed or power of its waters.
as time passed, the river grew clearer, its waters as transparent as crystal. people who came to drink from its source or cool themselves in its waters felt a deep calm, as if true peace lived there. it didn’t need grand gestures to impress, for its true beauty was in its simplicity and constancy.
