Going beyond the high clouds and the mist.

"Alright, let's pack up and go back, you all did well today. We got lots of nice shots."

His voice cut through the excited chatter, at least a dozen pairs of eyes just briefly looking at him before everyone started moving, quickly packing away their equipment just as they were told.

When he had been asked if he had any interest in taking over the kids' photography class, Kazuya had been a little reluctant at first. Not because he wasn't good with kids - because he definitely was - or because he thought that it wasn't the right thing for kids to learn, but simply because he did expect things to be a little more chaotic than they eventually turned out to be, despite his students ranging from the age of 8 to almost 16. It was more of a casual thing, but everyone was doing their best. Including himself.

"Will you help me pick some pictures for the exhibition?", a quiet voice made the photographer stop his train of thoughts just to face the kid staring up at him from big eyes.
The boy, holding his camera as if it was his most precious possession was looking at him with a doubtful expression, almost making his heart melt.

"Of course. Next time we'll stay inside and go through everyone's pictures, choose the best ones and make sure they look nice. Everyone will only have their best shots at the exhibition.", reaching out for him, Kazuya ruffled his hair and gave the boy a smile before ushering him to the small bus where everyone was already waiting.
"I'm sure your parents will love seeing them and be super proud."

It was when the little one seemingly grew a few inches upon his words, that his smile spread a little wider.
Maybe he had never thought about teaching, but it turned out to be more fun than he would have ever thought it would be..
