Our little Beau Regard is one. My favorite little man. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. It has been the fastest year ever. It has also been the most joyous year ever. He was the little missing puzzle piece that completed our big family. I’ll never not be in awe that he’s little miracle #4.
He loves his older siblings and loves mommy and daddy. He’s so good at keeping up with the bigger kids! I cry at these rapid milestones. We’re so, so lucky he chose us as his family. 🥹 Happy first birthday to the smallest in charge.
Hard to believe this was me in Italy only a year ago, a day away from giving birth. Who would have thought? I miss our bonding time and his little kicks. It was the most transformative pregnancy I’ve had but I think it was supposed to be. Did I lose my mind? Hell yeah. Hormones and emotions nearly took me out several times. I’m still a work in progress. But he truly gave us something else so important to fight for. We’re not perfect but we make it work.
