so this is what it feels like

I used to roll my eyes at the whole “love finds you when you least expect it” thing. almost given up on believing or something and then she showed up. just this quiet kind of magic that snuck up on me and decided to stay. somehow indeed able to turn my whole world upside down without even trying. she’s not a fairytale. she’s better, she’s real enough to shake you awake, in all the right ways. and maybe that’s why it feels so good. because it’s not about perfection. it’s about connection. my days suddenly have this warmth I’d forgotten existed. I catch myself smiling for no reason, replaying little moments like they’re scenes from a movie I don’t want to end. like I just want to stay here in this feeling, with her. because sometimes maybe it’s really like that, love doesn’t crash into your life. it just quietly walks in, sits down next to you… and makes you wonder how you ever lived without it.
