Love Me Tender

She had noticed. The way Emperor's mind was preoccupied with thoughts of someone, how he would smile when his phone would light up with a text. This wasn't the first time and Zeppelin knew with their rocky marriage it wouldn't be the last. They needed to figure out their marriage before resentment settled in too deep for no return.

"Babe" she smiled sounding cheerful "Plans today? I thought maybe we could take a day trip to visit the dads."

Emperor smiled at his wife, sliding his arms around her waist "I do, but maybe this weekend?"

Zeppelin smiled softly, trying not to show her disappointment or how her heart dropped with his reply "The weekend would be lovely." She replied, kissing him softly.

"I love you, baby." Emperor said softly, placing kiss on her neck "I mean it."

He knew how to placate her, make her feel as loved as possible but it was that wandering eye that was always on her mind and who was on his mind was the kicker.
