This was a long time coming…
I will never truly know what went through your mind the day I tried to apologize with a random cup of coffee without even knowing your name, but I’ll never question it. Whatever it was, I’m endlessly grateful for it.
So much has happened since that day, and yet sometimes it still feels like it was just yesterday. The coffee. The lake. Kay shamelessly hitting on you. Every part of it. But when I look at us now, I see how much we’ve grown since, both together and apart. And I can say, with complete certainty, is that the best version of me exists when you’re by my side.
Scarlett, I love you. Deeply, fiercely, endlessly. I have always loved you, even in the moments you thought I didn’t. That spark we once had never burned out, it simply waited for us to be ready. And when we finally swallowed our pride, it became the flame that keeps us warm.
Even now, I’m still amazed that I get to have you in my life. I want everything with you, baby, and I’ll give you everything in return.
We may not be perfect, but we are perfect for each other. You and I always were –and always will be– meant to be.

To all of you who were there last night with us, thank you! You helped make our wedding day a memory that will last a lifetime. I’m eternally grateful. Hope you had a good time!
