A new beginning... A new Start
I’m back in London.
The city looks the same — grey skies, old streets, the smell of rain on stone — but everything feels… off.
I don’t know anyone here anymore. The people I used to laugh with, party with, dream with — they’re all gone. Moved away, moved on, or just disappeared into the city’s massive crowd.
I walked past the old pub tonight. Nobody recognized me. I didn’t expect them to, but still… it stung. I guess I thought maybe the city would remember me, even if the people didn’t.
There’s this weird emptiness in my chest. I wanted to come back, to restart, to build something new. But tonight, it just feels like I’m standing alone in a place that’s no longer mine.
I don’t know if it’s the jet lag, the loneliness, or just the weight of memories here — but right now, I feel weird. Out of place. Alone.
Maybe tomorrow will be better. Maybe tomorrow I’ll meet someone. Or maybe I just need to face the truth: it’s a new beginning, and I have to figure out who I am here, without the past to lean on.
