A homework

Micah loved the crowd around him, and most of the time he was happy to get lost in it without being noticed by others.
He loved the buzz, the way everyone seemed to be talking at the same time, and the way he could observe his friends and everyone. Maybe that was the best part. Getting to know them without they getting to know him.
Because what if it were the other way around? He was just a boring kid. Who didn’t even date anyone, like everyone else did. Even his bro and cousins. Or at least they had crushes.
He was just a boring kid who wasn’t even too good at sports and most people saw only how cute he was with his blonde hair and blue eyes. Cute. "Oh, so cuuuuuute" with that tone he so disliked.

There was so much more in him. But did anyone really care of that? That there were so many sides, behind the cute they saw, behind the boring they might realise as not dating and not good in sports, but there was that side, that real him, too. Did that matter?
