Sometimes, it's hard to find the words to say
Sometimes it feels like no matter what you do, people are always going to judge you. If you don’t fit into what they expect, they look at you like there’s something wrong. And on top of that, they want you to be perfect, polite, quiet and all that… while they do whatever they want without anyone calling them out.
But you know what? It gets old. It gets old having to ask for permission just to exist, having to smile even when they’re treating you like crap. So it’s better to stop trying to please everyone. If they don’t like who you are, that’s their problem. Because in the end, no matter how much they try to tell you how you should act, you’re still here, with your flaws and your own way of living. And that, whether they like it or not, is enough.
A veces parece que hagas lo que hagas, siempre van a juzgarte. Si no encajas en lo que la gente espera, ya te miran raro. Y encima te exigen que seas perfecta, amable, discreta y todo eso… mientras ellos hacen lo que quieren sin que nadie les diga nada.
Pero ¿sabes qué? Ya cansa. Cansa tener que pedir permiso para existir, tener que sonreír aunque te estén tratando fatal. Así que mejor dejar de intentar caerle bien a todo el mundo. Si no les gusta cómo eres, problema suyo. Porque al final, por mucho que intenten decirte cómo deberías comportarte, tú sigues aquí, con tus defectos y tus ganas de vivir a tu manera. Y eso, les pese o no, también vale.
