There’s something about polaroids —
the way they capture a moment without asking for permission,
without filters, without do-overs.
Just truth, pressed into paper.

This week’s theme feels fitting.
My life has been a collection of moments that never asked to be perfect — only real.

1. The Studio.
The first polaroid is me surrounded by cables, half-finished melodies, and the kind of silence that hums.
I’m studying harmonies, exploring voices — mine, hers, ours.
Music is the only place where my mind stops fighting itself.
And somehow it feels even more alive lately, as if every note carries her name in between the lines.

2. Her.
The second photo wasn’t supposed to exist.
A surprise shot — Ethel caught mid-laugh, mid-light, the way only she can be.
Beautiful without effort, radiant without intention.
Every time I look at it, I’m reminded that the world gets softer when she’s in it.

3. Summer.
The last polaroid is a memory of sun on my skin and her hands holding the camera.
I’m smiling — truly smiling — the kind that shows up when you’re not trying to be anything but yourself.
Because she was behind the lens.
Because she’s the reason that day felt warm long before the sun touched us.

Three snapshots.
Three truths.
Three versions of the same story:

I was building a life.
She walked into it.
And now… every moment feels worth keeping.
