The day has finally arrived, and our hearts are fuller than ever. After what felt like an eternity, our baby girl has safely come into this world.
I won’t sugarcoat it.. this.. this has been one of the toughest experiences I’ve ever faced. Birth is no joke. Not at all. However.. While I’m absolutely exhausted, I’m also overwhelmed with peace and joy as I watch this tiny, perfect girl sleeping next to me. 🎀
Damon, THE BIG BROTHER, is home, eagerly waiting to meet his baby sister, and his excitement is contagious. He has been practicing saying "sister" all week. I mean.. all week, really. I can already imagine the love and mischief they will share as siblings. 🥹
As I sit here in my hospital room, waiting for the doctor to give us the green light to head home.. Our baby girl is peacefully sleeping in her crib by my side, with daddy is gently caressing her little chin. This is their first picture together, and my heart can’t take it. After all the challenges of bringing her into this world, moments like this make everything worthwhile. I am grateful, tired, and completely in awe of this little family we’ve created. Watching our family grow like this feels like pure magic.
