RIP Daddy Son

Dahlia looked one last time at the place where she recently spend time with her dad and tears came into her eyes. It was just not so long ago. She wondered searching for him, for his comforting hugs and kisses on the forehead he gave her casually, but none of it she could find.

"Sweet Dahlia... mommy is coming to get you now." she just heard on the phone. Her mother Lily tried to sound as calm as she could, but letting her daughter experience such terrifying things like seeing her father dying in front of her wasn't something a child should experience.

Staying with her nanny, little Dahlia sat down in the colourful garden that surrounded the morgue that her father Son 'landed' few hours ago. After the funeral she played with her doll, not being completely aware that she won't see her daddy ever again.

Asking her nanny from time to time when will daddy come back or when will they play together again, the woman wiped tears away and nodded in disbelief.
After few hours Lily landed in Tromso and run towards her little daughter, hugging her onto her body tight, feeling her heart tearing apart into thousands of pieces.

"Mummy! Where is Papa?" Dahlia looked into her mother's eyes wondering.
"He's now in heaven, flying with sweet angels, my sweet Dahlia." Lily just replied and hugged her daughter again.
"Can I go visit him?" Dahlia didn't give up yet.
"Someday, yes. But now you have to stay with me. Do you want to go grab some ice-cream maybe?" Lily tried to smile although her throat was tightening from upcoming flood of tears she tried to block.
"Why are you crying, mummy?" Dahlia looked into Lily's eyes and wiped another tear from her mom's eyes.
"I missed you. I'm happy to see you, my sweet Dahlia" Lily half-lied, as tears were totally dedicated to Son's sudden death.

Dahlia didn't ask anything more, grabbing her mother's hand with her tiny one and looking at Lily's face.
"I want vanilla flavour" she said, ready to leave the graveyard.
