WMU Tour Diary: Motto
When I was young, my mother's mantra was simple.
"Treat people the way you'd like to be treated."
And that's what I observed: how she interacted with everyone. From writers to fellow editors to those she was on the road with, from backstage employees to other artists.
It's become my motto; I live every single essence of my day by it, and it has served me well and attracted the right people to my circle.
I think that's what I love so much about Ryan. Every single person - any person - he is genuinely interested in everything about them. Even the way he interacts with the paparazzi is fascinating, but it's always done with authentic care and interest. I adore that about that man, and I cannot wait to be the mother of his children (!?!) one day.
I guess I will end with this: "lead with kindness always. You never know what someone is going through."
