The first rock festival held at the Angels rock club was the very successful Angels Rock Competition of the year '32, won by the Ambrossa, with the bands Delirios Musicales & Rage Hard finishing second & third.
Two years later, the Angels Rockfest is held again, this time featuring a doubled entry fee of £700 & a minimum average show quality of "poor" set as requirement for entry -- but hopefullly featuring an at least equally competitive field to challange.
