The first competition held at the Angels Rock club was the [competitionid=9636 name=Angels Rock Competition] of the year '32, won by the [artistid=109469 name=Ambrossa]. Encouraged by the success of that competition, we organized the [competitionid=12586 name=Angels Rockfest] in the year 34, bringing together a very competitive & closely-matched field, and now we're attempting to turn this into an annual event by holding the competition again in the year '35.
The Angels Rockfest '35 features a doubled entry fee of £1500 & a minimum average show quality of 'below average' as requirement for entry, aiming to make the competition even more prestigious.
