Early this morning, her boss texted her to remind her about the Popo Olympics in Rio, while she was still sleeping in Steve’s arms. She quietly slipped out of bed, packed her bag, and caught an early morning flight.
As soon as she arrived Rio de Janeiro, Lisa stepped off the plane, her heart racing with a whirlwind of emotions. Along with the thrill, however, came an undeniable wave of nerves. She clutched her backpack tightly, reminding herself that she wasn’t alone—this was a team effort. She would be playing alongside Long Tiger, their inspiring captain from Shanghai Great Wall FC. Proudly, she thought about how her modeling agency supported and cheer the team, and she felt truly blessed.
