A Battlefield Of Dresses & Elegance

Rumors spread quickly among the high society of Rio de Janeiro. One of the most luxurious mansions in the city had been put up for sale after many years, and the aristocratic residence seemed to have new owners: the Easthams along with the Ferreira da Silva. The surnames were not unfamiliar, but they were considered mere upstarts by the blue blood of the oldest families in carioca lands.

On Monday night, an invitation was delivered to the current Ferreira da Silva residence. Bruna, the adoptive mother of Giovanna, although their bond was more like sisters of the heart, was the one who received it. Both were invited to an evening ball in society, where they could present themselves to everyone and join their voices with those of local citizens and entrepreneurs. It was a golden opportunity for Gio, and the young girl did not intend to let it slip by.
