Welcome To Castelo Eastham | #LasEastham

Hi, everyone.

In this week’s blog, I want to show you Castelo Eastham. It’s often mentioned in our family content, but we’ve never done a house tour so you can get to know it.

El Castelo, for short, is the mansion in Rio de Janeiro where all the Eastham women live. But… why do I include myself among the Eastham if I, like my daughter Giovanna, have the last name Ferreira da Silva? Basically, Alayna (whose last name is Eastham) and I started from absolutely nothing to build a little piece of the world for ourselves. We’ve been best friends since we were little, and I, a native of Rio, invited Alayna, born in New York, to stay a few days in a tiny apartment I was renting.

Having both fallen in love with the city, we decided it would be ours. We worked very hard and dreamed of having a beautiful, big family full of unique and powerful personalities living under the same roof. After some time, we made it happen. We created the brand "Eastham-FdS" and needed a headquarters.

That’s how we arrived at the Castelo, although its first version was much smaller. For aesthetic reasons, we shortened the "family brand" to simply Eastham. As you can see, it’s now full of comforts and not only houses the Eastham women, but also every model and content creator who’s part of our sponsorship program.

In the future, we aspire to turn it into a hub for gatherings, business, and events for the whole city.
